Ben Horn
Benjamin Horn was admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and has been a chartered arbitrator since 2005. Mr Horn joined Ince & Co., Solicitors in London in 1986 as a graduate of Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge and was a partner of that firm from 1995 to 2004.
Mr Horn has been involved in literally hundreds of arbitrations conducted under the LMAA rules, as well as in ICC, VIAC, SCC and LCIA arbitrations. Some of the most important reported cases which he has handled include "Houda", "Rialto", "Jay Bola", "Atlantic Emperor" as well as the "Fruitshippers" and "Silver Carriers" litigations. Mr Horn is an editor of the Arbitration Law Handbook (Informa, 2007), a supporting member of the LMAA, a member of the panel of arbitrators maintained by each of the Singapore International Arbitration Commission and the China Maritime Arbitration Commission.
